Samantha Poo graduated with LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 1987 and qualified as a Barrister-at-law at Lincoln's Inn in 1988. Samantha returned to Singapore in 1991 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1992. 

Samantha joined  Messrs Ng Lee & Partners in 1992 where she specialized in litigation with an emphasis on Family & Probate Law.  In 2004, she joined Siow Itming & Co and subsequently in 2007, she joined AbrahamLow LLC as a Consultant. 

Since 1996, besides general litigation, Samantha has been doing general solicitors work which includes drafting of agreements and conveyancing work involving commercial, private and public (HDB) properties.
