Looking for a personnel to provide administrative support in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the office

 1. Main Duties

    • Opening of conveyancing files 

    • Maintaining records of the executed legal documents and agreements

    • Provide word-processing and secretarial support to Conveyancing Department
    • Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders

    • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence

 2. Performs receptionist functions (when receptionist is on leave)
    • Answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries whenever possible
    • Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
    • Greet, assist and/or direct visitors with professionalism

 3. Perform other related duties as required

 Required Skills:

    • Minimum 2 to 3 years' relevant experience in conveyancing law firm preferred

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Mature, independent and able to handle sensitive information
    • Strong command of English language

    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be detail oriented

    • Must be computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft applications 
    • Personal traits to include proven initiative, flexibility in execution and exactness in meeting
      internal/external customer needs.

Sterling Law Corporation is looking for multiple candidates to fill in the following positions: Conveyancing Secretaries – Private, Conveyancing Secretaries - HDB  and Conveyancing Secretaries - CPF 

Job scope will include:

• Handle HDB and/or Private property conveyancing matters including preliminary preparation of legal documents and handle e-lodgement/STARS

• Handling CPF work for conveyancing transactions
• Liaise with Banks, CPF board, Solicitors and Clients on various conveyancing matters together
   with the conveyancing solicitors
• Manage client appointments and monitor deadlines
• Maintenance of files and records
• Required to render any other clerical and secretarial assistance to the Conveyancing department
• Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years' relevant experience in law firm handling HDB and/or Private property
   conveyancing transactions

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Mature, independent and able to handle sensitive information
• Strong command of English language

• Effectively Bilingual applicant preferred but not required

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• A strong sense of accountability, especially with meeting deadlines
• Personal traits to include proven initiative, flexibility in execution and exactness in meeting
   internal/external customer needs.

• Able to start work immediately, independently and under little supervision.
